Please be aware that the towpath closure will be strictly enforced from Monday the 16th due to laying of hot tarmac. It is essential that people observe the closure and use the signed diversion.
TOWPATH CLOSURE (8am Monday 18 September until 6pm Friday 27 October 2023)
The towpath between Airedale Boat Club Swing Bridge and Bingley 5 Rise Swing Bridge will be closed for upgrades.
Please could all towpath users follow the diversion signs to 5 Rise Locks and the tearoom. The contractors on site are aware that access will be required for boaters moored at the work site. We ask that boaters cooperate with site staff to ensure they have a safe route through the works.
