We are pleased to advise the repair to Bridge 32, Crabtree Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal has been successful and navigation has resumed.
Update on 13/09/2023:
Please be advised navigation remains closed at Bridge 32, Crabtree Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal whilst our specialist contractors continue to investigate the fault in operation and continue the repairs to the bridge.
A further update will be provided tomorrow, Thursday 14 September.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (4.45pm Tuesday 12 September 2023 until further notice)
Please be advised navigation is currently closed at Bridge 32, Crabtree Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to no power.
Our contractors have been informed and a further update will be provided tomorrow, Wednesday 13 September.

Remedial works to the power supply are back on.

Please be advised navigation is currently closed at Bridge 32, Crabtree Swing Bridge, on the Leeds/Liverpool due to an electrical fault.
Our Local Team have inspected this and requires contractors to attend.
The contractors have been informed and we shall update you tomorrow afternoon.
