ADVICE (7am Monday 11 July until 7pm Friday 22 July 2022)
Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite at Bridge 141D, Hodge Bank Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool canal to carry out necessary vegetation works to remove a tree stump/ root that was previously felled in March of this year. This will allow the third party works to undertake an inspection and repairs to a gas main located below and within the back verge of the towpath side of the canal.
Whilst both the towpath and navigation will remain open, access to the towpath and navigation will be marshalled during the works and signage with be in place on both approaches to the works.
We politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
