ADVICE (7am Monday 12 September until 7pm Friday 30 September 2022)
Please be advised third party contractors will be onsite at bridge 45A Railway bridge on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
The third party contractors are working on behalf of the National Highway Agency and will be clearing the silt from the stilling chamber that forms a surface water discharge outfall to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
Whilst the towpath and navigation will remain open, we politely ask our customers to take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third party contractors onsite.
