There are a number of oversize trees in this location and there is a history of them falling across the canal. We are felling and/or reducing the size of a number of trees to reduce the risk of incidents in the future. Mooring is being suspended to avoid the risk of harm coming to people or property in the area during these works. Works are programmed for a maximum of 5 days but may be completed sooner.
