Culvert 78
ADVICE (7am Monday 11 December until 7pm Friday 22 December 2023)
Please be advised that third-party contractors will be onsite at Culvert 78 on the Lancaster Canal.
The third-party contractors are working on behalf of Highways England and will be clearing and desilting the partially blocked culvert.
The culvert connects the northern part of the Lancaster canal either side on the M6 at Millness, Cumbria. Unblocking it will improve the flows supplied to the network from Crooks land and Stainton feeder.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
