Bridge 39, Hepgreave Bridge
Update on 19/08/2022:
We are pleased to advise we have gained the emergency road closure required to make Bridge 39, Hepgreave Bridge safe for passage and our team have been to site this afternoon. Both navigation and towpath access have now resumed.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (10am Friday 19 August 2022 until further notice)
Please be advised, to maintain the safety of our customers, both navigation and towpath access are closed at Bridge 39, Hepgreave Bridge on the Lancaster Canal, following a vehicle strike to the bridge.
Our teams are now speaking with the local authority to gain an emergency road closure to allow us to make the bridge safe and organise a repair.
An update will be provided Monday 22 August.
