Our team have cut back some of the tree but have been unable to remove it. The navigation remains blocked.
We are arranging for our contractors to attend and an update will be provided on Monday afternoon.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (6pm Friday 20 October 2023 until further notice)
A fallen tree is blocking the navigation between Lock 21W and 20W on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. Our teams will attend in the morning, and an update will be provided tomorrow.
