NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8am Monday 5 February until 4pm Friday 1 March 2024)
We would like to take the opportunity whilst the canal is closed at Lock 21E, Waterside Lock (upstream of Waterside Bridge, near Slaithwaite) to add in this additional stoppage to the Winter Works Programme.
We plan to do repairs to the head gates of Lock 18E between the dates of 05 February 2024 and the 1 March 2024. The repairs include back planking, mitre, quoin and cill works.
The Trust will add on these works at the same time to minimise disruption.
