Lock 5 West
Update on 12/07/2023:
We are pleased to advise the repair to Lock 5W on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal has been successful and navigation has resumed.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (5.15pm Monday 10 July 2023 until further notice)
Please be advised navigation is currently closed at Lock 5W on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal due to vandalism which has resulted in a broken gate collar and the lock gate is now detached from the heel post.
Our local team have attended site and a method of repair is being organised.
A further update will be provided Wednesday 12 July.
