A few hundred metres North of Norton Junction, near Bridge 1 – Leicester Section

The tree has been cleared, boaters can proceed as normal.
RESTRICTION (Thursday 5 October 2023 until further notice)
There is a large tree which is partially blocking the navigation a few hundred meters north of Norton Junction on the GU Leicester Section, near Bridge 1. The approximate W£W location is ///pacifist.hatch.leans
There is a boat moored opposite the fallen tree leaving, which unfortunately leaves about a 9ft gap.
Some large boats may struggle to get past and we ask that you proceed with care.
Contractors are required to clear the tree and we have raised an urgent job with them.
We will update this notice at the end of the day tomorrow or as soon as we have further information.
