The tree has now been removed and navigation has reopened.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (Sunday 9 July 2023 until further notice)
A poplar tree has fallen across the canal obstructing navigation.
Removal of the tree is currently being organised and an update will be posted once a removal team has been organised.
