Stoke Bruerne
Lock 14, Top Lock
Update on 05/04/2022:
Due to the recent bad weather, an unexpected breakdown and the volume of craft needing passage through the lock, we have had to extend the restriction at Stoke Bruerne Lock 14 until Wednesday 13th April.
These are essential works to replace the rotten balance beam.
Wide beam boats will be unable to pass while these works are taking place.
We may be able to accommodate passage at certain times, but this is not guaranteed and would need to be booked in advance.
Narrow boats will be ok, but maybe held up for around 30 to 45 minutes.
We ask boaters to follow the on-site teams instructions.
The lock will be operational outside of working hours.
