Approximately 200m North of Bridge 21 (Brockhall Road Bridge)

The tree has been cleared and boaters can now travel as normal.
RESTRICTION (10am Friday 16 June 2023 until further notice)
A tree has fallen from the offside approximately 200m north of bridge 21 (Brockhall Road Bridge) on the Grand Union Canal.
Multiple large branches are obscuring 60 – 70% of the navigation, and passage for narrowboats will be tight. Wide-beam boats would not be able to pass.
Due to the size of the debris and location, contractors will be required and will be on site as soon as possible.
