Brentford Canal Festival – 24 June – Mooring Suspension & Canal Festival
Starts At: Lock 100B, Brentford Lock
Ends At: Lock 99, Clitheroes Lock
EVENT (12noon Friday 23 June until 12noon Sunday 25 June 2023)
A canal festival (including trip boats, canoes & paddleboards), organised by Brentford Voice, and planned for Saturday 24 June on the Grand Union Canal. The event will be based around the basin and gauging lock but will use a section of navigation between Brentford Lock, 100b and Clitheroes Lock, 99.
The Mooring suspension will be from 12.00pm Friday 23rd June, until 12.00pm Sunday 25th June. The Suspension will be from the end of the pump out berth to the new footbridge. Navigation will be unaffected. Volunteer lock keepers will be managing the lock passages, the paddle boarders / kayakers already operate in the area with no impact on passing traffic.
