Annual Weed Cutting
Starts At: Bridge 1 Low Level Bridge
Ends At: Bridge 17, Sellars Swing Bridge
ADVICE (9am Monday 19 June until 5pm Friday 23 June 2023)
Please be advised that from 19th of June our contractors will be delivering the annual weed clearance of rooted vegetation from the Gloucester Sharpness canal (between Sharpness (Low Level Bridge and Sellars Swing Bridge).
The navigation will remain open during the works. The weed cutting will take 4-5 days to complete. Contractors will start at Saul Junction on Monday, work towards Purton until Wednesday, and will then undertake between Saul Junction and Sellars Bridge Thursday to Friday.
