Bridge 3A, Saxilby Moorings Footbridge
Update on 22/11/2023:
Due to high winds, the craning of Saxilby visitor mooring footbridge back in position has been postponed.
This work will now take on Tuesday 28th November.
RESTRICTION (Thursday 23 November 2023)
Third party contractors, Universal Coatings Ltd on behalf of West Lindsey District Council, will be crane lifting the Saxilby visitor mooring footbridge back into its original position on Thursday 23rd November.
This is following its removal for refurbishment works. There will be several crane lifts undertaken to reinstall all elements of the bridge.
Boats should expect delays as the navigation will be closed during lifting operations. Passing boats are asked to moor-up and wait, however they will be allowed to continue their journey, safely, in-between crane lifts.
