NAVIGATION CLOSURE (4pm Friday 20 October 2023 until further notice)
A tree has fallen and is blocking the navigation between Stenson’s Lock and Bennerley Viaduct on the Erewash Canal in Ilkeston.
Our team is aware and will be arranging for contractors to clear it within the next 24 hours. However, this timeframe may be affected by adverse weather.
The situation will be monitored over the weekend, and an update to this notice will be posted when more information is received or by 5 pm on Monday 23rd October, whichever is soonest.
