The navigation and towpath will remain open.
Contractors will be undertaking bathymetric and topographic surveys of the canal, for approximately 32mtrs around Bridge 17, Gypsy Lane Bridge. The survey will be undertaken by a small lightweight vessel. Boats will be allowed to pass causing minimal disruption to the canal network. Signage will be utilised to manage canal traffic; care should be taken whilst passing through this section.
