NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8am Monday 27 November until 4pm Tuesday 28 November 2023)
We’re having to carry out urgent repairs at Curdworth Lock 5, to repair the offside ground paddle.
There is an issue with the paddle coming off the rod, which is causing the lock to be very slow draining, meaning boats are having to queue for a considerable amount of time. An urgent repair is therefore required, as we would have to close navigation if anything happens to the towpath side paddle. A two-day stoppage will take place on Monday 27th November & Tuesday 28th November.
