Bridge 15B, Railway Bridge
RESTRICTION (Monday 12 June until Friday 23 June 2023)
Third Party works are to undertake maintenance at Railway Bridge 15b on the Ashby Canal.
A mobile floating pontoon with tower scaffold will be required to access bridge elements above the navigation.
There is a possibility of delays of up to 30 minutes for passing craft. (This is to allow contractors to move their pontoon if it is restricting the navigation).
Passing craft are to navigate the location slowly, with caution, and in single file.
Towpath users should be aware that contractors have been instructed to cease work whilst pedestrians pass the structure.
