Lock 12, Whitley Lock
Update on 27/09/2023:
Weed clearance craft are currently navigating from Castleford Flood Lock and Goole areas towards Whitley to clear the floating pennywort.
Currently the entrance and exit to/from Whitley Lock is clear and also under the M62 bridge. There are large rafts of Floating Pennywort upstream of Whitley Lock attached to banks and some rafts floating free in navigation but all passable with care.
