Update on 23/10/2023:
The works to the damaged sluice ram have been postponed until further notice, this is due to our mechanical and engineering team carrying out emergency repairs caused by storm Babet.
We will issue a notice once we have a date confirmed.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8am-4pm Monday 23 October 2023)
The lock will be closed for the day to allow our Mechanical & Engineering team to replace a damaged sluice ram.
Canal and River Trust apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.
This notice will be updated when there is new information to share with you.
