Raymarine first to integrate new smart lighting control

Designed to streamline helm installations and free up space for small leisure craft and tenders, Raymarine has launched Mini IYS, linking BluefinLED’s advanced underwater lights directly to a vessel’s multi-function display. With a single ethernet connection, the system delivers a clean, graphical interface that’s simple to install and effortless to use.

“Owners want a simple, elegant way to control their lights through the systems they already trust,” said Chris Harris-Marsh, technical director at BluefinLED, a UK-based designer and manufacturer of advanced LED marine lighting. “With Raymarine as our first collaboration, the Mini IYS delivers exactly that.”

Unlike many systems that require additional apps or complex configurations, the Mini IYS utilises a secure, web-based interface. Any device with a web browser can operate the lights, with no need for downloads or proprietary software. The result is a future-proof platform that can grow with the vessel, adding new lights, integrating above-water fixtures, or expanding to wider onboard controls as owners need.
