There’s still time to take part in The Riverfly Partnership’s photography competition. Lucy Wood reports…
The partnership is encouraging people to submit images on the theme of riverflies. “If you don’t have any photos yet that you’re particularly proud of, then you’ve got until the end of June to get out to the river and take some,” it said. “All entrants will be in with the chance to feature in our online gallery, on our socials, and in a future Riverfly calendar. If your photo gets selected for use in the calendar, you’ll receive a free copy.

“As well as the calendar, the winning photographer will win a year’s digital subscription to British Wildlife Magazine, a pair of waders from Ollyskins, a £25 voucher for NHBS, a bundle of WildID Guides from the Field Studies Council, and a Riverfly Partnership notebook and sticker.”
Two runners-up will also receive a bundle of WildID Guides from the Field Studies Council, along with a Riverfly Partnership notebook and sticker.
