TOWPATH CLOSURE (8am Friday 14 July until 5pm Tuesday 5 December 2023)
The towpath will be closed from Hildicks Bridge to Teeces Bridge on the Wyrley & Essington Canal. This is for improvement works starting 14th July and finishing 5th December.
The construction and refurbishment of the new towpath surfacing will be done with a spray and chip surfacing. The works will also include the installation of solar powered light emitting diode (LED) lighting system to illuminate the side of the towpath nearest the waters edge.
