ADVICE (7am Monday 9 October until 6pm Friday 27 October 2023)
Contractors working on behalf of Network Rail are undertaking brickwork repairs to the footpath abutment and the canal side abutments of Selly Oak Viaduct. A modular pontoon will be used with a scaffold tower erected on top of the pontoon. In order to access certain areas of brickwork, a mobile tower scaffold will also be installed on the towpath. The pontoon and scaffolding will be moved out of the way to allow passage of traffic if required.
Signs, barriers and a pedestrian marshal will be used to direct the public around the work area.
