Saltersford Large Lock
Update on 25/05/2023:
We are pleased to advise our engineers have successfully replaced the failed bolts within the two upper gates at Saltersford Lock on the Weaver Navigation and navigation has now resumed as per the Summer Opening Times which can be found here.
However further works may be required, of which we will provide notice of should we need to close the lock.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (5pm Wednesday 24 May 2023 until further notice)
Please be advised navigation is currently closed at Saltersford Lock, on the Weaver Navigation.
Our engineers have attended site and identified a bolt failure within the two upper gates, and an issue causing movement within the two lock base plates, as a result additional investigations are required.
Whilst the investigation is undertaken navigation will be closed at Saltersford Lock, on the Weaver Navigation.
