Winnington Swing Bridge
RESTRICTION (8am-5pm Tuesday 4 October 2022)
Please be advised third-party divers will be in the canal at Winnington Swing Bridge on the Weaver Navigation to carry out an inspection of an underwater pipeline from 8am till 5pm on Tuesday 4 October.
Whilst navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop. For safety reasons, Winnington Swing Bridge will not be operated during this dive.
Warning signs and diving flags will be in place and a small rescue boat will be in operation. Please listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors and take note of the signage onsite.
