Due to poor weather conditions these works have been deferred. Works will now take place from 14/03/23 to 16/03/23.
ADVICE (8am Wednesday 8 March until 5pm Friday 10 March 2023)
Contractors working on behalf of Midland Metro will be undertaking investigation works to an outfall pipe that discharges into the Walsall Canal south of Railway Bridge, Hempole Lane, on the towpath side.
The towpath will remain open, but barriers will be placed around the works, which will restrict its width. Signage and banksmen will be utilised to manage pedestrians and boaters. We kindly remind towpath users and boaters to follow signage and directions given on site.
