Water Rescue Training – Aldwark Activity Centre

Ends At: Aldwark Footbridge
ADVICE (8.30am Saturday 11 March until 5pm Sunday 12 March 2023)
Aldwark Activity Centre will be undertaking safety and rescue training. The training will involve safety and rescue exercises that may involve exceeding the speed limit.
All exercises will be restricted to the stretch of river from Aldwark Footbridge to the bend 2.3 km upstream of Aldwark Bridge.
The area will be marked upstream and downstream with river buoys and red markers.
Skippers of all craft navigating the area should approach the area with caution and be prepared to slow down.
Vessels involved in the training exercise will slow down and make way for passing craft.
The training will be taking place on the Saturday 11th March & Sunday 12 March from 08:30hrs to 17:00hrs on both days.
