Please be advised that third-party contractors will be onsite at Bridge 192, Wincham Hotel Bridge on the Trent and Mersey Canal.
The third-party contractors working on behalf of the council will be carrying out an underwater inspection of the highway bridge and canal banks via a small boat. Some of the workers will be in the water.
Whilst the navigation and towpath will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third party contractors onsite.
