ADVICE (8am Monday 12 September until 6pm Friday 7 October 2022)
Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite between Bridge 186 and Bridge 187A on the Trent & Mersey Canal to carry out repairs to a pipe bridge.
To be able to carry out these works, a temporary scaffold will be placed over the canal and towpath.
Whilst both the towpath and navigation will remain open, customers may be asked to wait no longer than 30 minutes to allow the third-party contractors make way for a safe passage.
We politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given via signage or by the third-party contractors on site.
