250th Anniversary of opening 1st Section of L&L Canal – Leeds and Liverpool Canal – 9 & 10 April
Starts At: Springs Branch – Visitor Moorings
Ends At: Bridge 1, Coach Street Bridge
RESTRICTION (9am Saturday 8 April until 9am Tuesday 11 April 2023)
Leeds and Liverpool Canal Society have organised a Heritage Open Day with a boat and marquee travelling up Springs Branch to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the first section opening on the Leeds and Liverpool.
The navigation will remain open but can skippers of all crafts, please slow down and approach the area with caution. Please follow any safety advice given from any safety boats that may be on the water or any event marshall.
