Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite between Bridge 123L, Tower Wharf and Lock 1, Northgate Bottom Lock on the Shropshire Union Canal to carry out necessary vegetation works.
The works are being carried out over night to reduce the impact on passage through Northgate Locks.
Whilst both the towpath and navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
