TOWPATH CLOSURE (until 5pm Friday 24 March 2023)
Please be advised that third-party contractors will be onsite between bridge 140A, New Stanney bridge and bridge 140, Mason’s bridge on the Shropshire Union Canal.
The third-party contractors will be carrying out demobilisation of canal dewatering kits and the towpath will remain closed.
Whilst the navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
