Sprotbrough Lock
Update on 03/09/2023:
Engineers have rectified the fault with the upstream sluice and returned the lock to normal operation.
ADVICE (5pm Saturday 2 September 2023 until further notice)
A fault has developed on the upstream nearside sluice. It has been removed from the automated sequence of lock operation so that the lock will continue to operate on a single upstream sluice.
The lock will be slower to fill than usual with it operating on a single sluice.
Engineers are booked to attend on Sunday 3rd September 2023 and this notice will be updated once they have reported back.
