There was a blockage in the pounds above which have now been cleared.
It will take a few hours for the water levels to be replenished.
Passage through this section can recommence at 1pm.

The pound between Lock 25 and Lock 26 on the Rochdale Canal has no water
The team will monitor this section and will replenish it when there is available water in the pounds above.
We will update the notice when we have further information.
