The motorbike has been removed and there is no longer an obstruction to the navigation.
RESTRICTION (11.45am Thursday 1 December 2022 until further notice)
A motorbike has been reported to be submerged in the canal between Lock 17 and Lock 18.
The team are currently attending the site to assess and to identify any diesel leakage from the vehicle.
We will update the notice with any further information.
