Lock 42 – North Lock

Update on 15/09/2023:

The repairs to North Lock have been completed and boaters can now proceed as normal.

Update on 01/09/2023:

There will be a full closure of North Lock on the River Soar to allow for the repair of the cill.  

The lock is now closed and repairs will start on Monday 4th September at 8am. 

We anticipate that the work will take two weeks and the lock will be closed until 5pm on Friday 15th September.  

NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8am Monday 4 September until 5pm Friday 15 September 2023)
