Update on 03/10/2022:
Due to unforeseen circumstances works have been suspended due to an incoming period of bad weather and high winds. The Diving works will not be going ahead this week as planned. We will update accordingly when works have been re scheduled.
RESTRICTION (8am Tuesday 4 October until 6pm Friday 7 October 2022)
Contractors are carrying out an inspection of the bridge with divers.
Boaters are requested to slow down when approaching the site.
Please can all skippers contact the bridge when they pass Howden Dyke Jetty to find out if the divers are in the water and be given an approximate time scale so they can slow down from there. The same also applies coming upstream when passing APB locks.
Skippers are also advised to be prepared to slow down whilst the divers move out of the way.
