Updated message from the Flood Incident Duty Officer to all navigation users:
The locks are still set to discharge flood water if required. All the guillotine gates remain closed, so we are not currently using locks for discharge. Some sluices remain open.
Following the review and due to the uncertainty of the weather forecast for midweek, the field team advice is to leave the locks set to discharge if required. We do not have capacity to set back to normal and then reverse again at short notice should that situation arise.
The field team will review once again midweek and if the weather allows, we should be able to set the locks back.

currently using locks for discharge. Some sluices remain open.
In view of the uncertainty in the forecast for the weekend, the field team advice is to leave the locks set to discharge if required. We do not have capacity to set back to normal and then reverse again at short notice should that situation arise. If the weather over the weekend allows, we should be able to set the locks back on Monday morning.
