Update on 27/02/2023:
Contractors will be on site from Monday 27 February 2023 to start work on removing the tree from navigation and further communication will be issued once the tree has been removed in the meantime this area remains closed to navigation.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (Thursday 16 February 2023 until rescinded)
Further to our navigation advisory notice of 24 January 2023, now that water levels have returned to normal, it can be clearly seen that the tree fallen into the river is obstructing at the very least 50% of navigation.
A further update will be provided once a full site assessment has been made but in the meantime this area is closed to navigation. We are also working with our contractors to remove this tree as soon as possible,
