Please be aware of a tree which has fallen into the river at Prebend Street Bridge also known as County Bridge in Bedford. This Advisory Navigation Notice replaces our Reported Obstruction Advisory Notice for the tree blocking the arch way of the Railway Bridge (Hitchin Bridge) issued on 8
November 2023.
We will look into the practicalities of removing this tree once the river levels have reduced and the Strong Stream River Advice for Boaters has been removed.
