We are pleased to advise that the windblown tree has been removed from between Bridge 3, Well Bridge and Bridge 4, Newton Hall Br on the Peak Forest Canal and navigation has resumed.

Please be advised navigation remains closed due to a fallen windblown tree between Bridges 3 & 4 on the Peak Forest Canal blocking navigation and towpath.
Contractors are expected on site tomorrow.
An update will be provided tomorrow afternoon, 1st August.
