We would like to inform you that HS2 Contractors have completed this stoppage ahead of schedule and the navigation is now open,
ADVICE (7am Monday 10 October until 6pm Wednesday 12 October 2022)
EKFB, a contractor working on behalf of HS2, are installing a temporary bridge over the Oxford Canal 70m East of Bridge 128. Ground preparation works are now complete and the sheet piles previously installed can now be extracted.
During the extraction, lookouts will be stationed at Bridges 127 and 128 to phone through to site to temporarily cease works whilst customers are escorted past the works area.
Delays of up to 15 minutes might occur. Heras fencing will be placed in front of the sheet piles for security. The works will not affect boaters.
