Update on 28/07/2023:
The fallen tree has been partially cleared.
Navigation is possible but we advise that boating visitors pass with care.
Further work will be undertaken to completely clear the tree from the navigation.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (5.45pm Thursday 27 July 2023 until further notice)
A tree has fallen from the offside of the canal, fully blocking the navigation, Thursday 27th July early evening. The towpath is passable with care.
We will endeavour to clear the fallen tree before 4pm Friday 28th July 2023.
Further notices will be published with an update this coming Friday.
