RESTRICTION (10pm Monday 15 May 2023 until 6am Thursday 8 June 2023)
Contractors working on behalf of Network Rail are undertaking repair works to the boundary wall between Broad Street Tunnel and Highway Bridge. The towpath will be closed at night between 10pm to 6am from 15/05/23 to 19/05/23. This is to install scaffolding to aid the repair works. The towpath will also be closed from 05/06/23 to 08/06/23 to dismantle the scaffolding when the works are completed.
A diversion route, signage and banksmen will be in place. We kindly advise towpath users to follow signage and directions given on site and please take extra care when passing through this area.
