Queen’s Road
Bridge 1b – East Croft
RESTRICTION (until Friday 14 July 2023)
Update on 12/06/2023:
There will be a continuation of scaffolding and a pontoon in the waterway at Bridge 1b East Croft, Nottingham, on the Nottingham Beeston Canal while a third-party works team repair and re-coat gas mains.
A delay in the reduction of the gas pressure within the pipeline, is impeding a repair and the subsequent re-coating work.
There may be delays of up to 30 minutes for passing craft to allow contractors to move their pontoon if it is restricting the navigation.
Please follow any instructions on site. Contactors will also provide towpath banksman to safely manage the passage of towpath users during operations.
We will review this notice mid July, 2023.
