Up Stream Winding Hole: On the Leigh branch junction with the Leeds and Liverpool by the foot bridge.
Down Stream Winding Hole: Dover lock, Lock 4. Just after bridge dover lock.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8am Monday 21 November until 4pm Monday 5 December 2022)
Emergency work is required to repair severe leakage through the gates and mitre posts. The leakage is causing challenges with water control. These works are essential to help us maintain navigation during the summer months. The gates are currently leaking faster than the feeds that are providing water.
Please note that if required, some weekend working will take place.
